Slovak National Gallery

The Slovak National Gallery, abbreviated as SNG, is the top Slovak state art-historical, collecting, scientific-research and cultural-educational institution, located in Bratislava, right next to Hotel Devín****. In 2022, its extensive reconstruction was completed. In the beautiful premises, you can always find seasonal exhibitions, which represent rich art collections from Gothic to the contemporary art.

Nedbalka Gallery

You can find it just a 10-minute walk from Hotel Devín HERE. The mission of the gallery is to provide all those interested in visual arts with the opportunity to get to know the works of the most important artists working in Slovakia from the end of the 19th century to the present day. In the exhibition space, there is a permanent exhibition on four floors dedicated to the birth and development of modern art in Slovakia, which presents a picture of the history of painting and sculpture in Slovakia in the 20th century.

Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum

This exceptional gallery is surrounded by the Danube and is located 20 minutes by car from the hotel building HERE. The building resembles the shape of a Roman galley stranded on the riverbed. Exhibitions of leading international artists are held here, alternating in the large hall on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a museum of the contemporary art and around the building there is a park spread over an area of ​​8000 square meters where you can find a whole range of sculptural works.

Viktoria´s Gallery

It is located an 18-minute walk from Hotel Devín HERE. The founders- Emilien Grivel, a French art dealer and his wife Viktoria, a Russian painter, decided to combine their passion for art and show the public current artists as well as great masters such as Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and many others. The main hall mainly presents contemporary artists, a small hall starting from the main hall – works of great masters and at the back in the veranda, you can admire a new exhibition every 2 months.

Umelka Gallery

The UMELKA Gallery is one of the oldest cultural institutions in Slovakia and you can find it just a 9-minute walk from the hotel building HERE. It was built by the Slovak Art Forum in the years 1925-1926. The important, structurally innovative and oldest functionalist building in Slovakia is a national cultural monument. Since 1990, it has been known as UMELKA, it is the residence of the Slovak Art Union.
