Location

Hotel Devin is located directly on the bank of the Danube River and in the historical centre of Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. Its superb location is ideal for exploring the city on foot and does not require the use of a car or taxi during your stay.

All the city’s main attractions are within walking distance of the hotel, including the Slovak National Gallery, Bratislava Castle, the New Bridge with its UFO-like café, St. Martin’s Cathedral, historic Opera house, Hviezdoslav and Main Square.

Parking at hotel Devin  

There are more than 30 public parking spots available at Hotel Devin. Located directly in the heart of Bratislava, just few steps off the Hviezdoslavovo square. Parking fees:

• Accomodated guests: 20 Eur / day. We recommend to book your parking spot together with your accomodation.
• Parking fees for other clients:
  • Monday - Friday, 7.00 - 18.00, 3 Eur / hour
  • Monday - Friday, 18.00 - 7.00, 2 Eur / hour
  • Saturday - Sunday, 2 Eur / hour
  • Parking is charged for every 30 minutes started 

Directions

Bratislava lies in the middle of the triangle formed by Vienna, Budapest and Prague. It is connected by highways and is easily and comfortably reachable from all directions.

There are two airports very close to the city: Vienna Schwechat International Airport (VIE) and Bratislava MR Stefanik Airport (BTS). Both are conveniently located to Hotel Devin.

Getting to Hotel Devin by car:

• From Brno/Prague –highway E65/D2 southeast
• From Kosice/Poprad-High Tatras/Krakow/Zilina/Trencin/Trnava/Nitra –highway E75/E58/D1 southwest
• From Budapest – highway E75/E60/M1 northwest

Getting to Hotel Devin from Vienna Airport:

• From Vienna/Schwechat Airport –highway A4, then A6/E58 east. Vienna airport is located 40 minutes drive from Hotel Devin.

Getting to Hotel Devin from Bratislava Airport:

• From Bratislava/M.R. Stefanik Airport - Take inner city highway E75/E58/D1 towards the “Centrum” (city centre). Bratislava airport is located only 10 minutes drive from Hotel Devin.

Getting to Hotel Devin by boat:

The most romantic way to get from central Vienna to Bratislava is on the Twin City Liner boat. It takes around one hour and you will enjoy great views of the Danube and its banks. The boat pier in Bratislava is located only a 5-10 minute walk from Hotel Devin.

Getting to Hotel Devin by train/coach:

• From the main train station – 3 km/20 min. Take tram #13 to “Nám. Ľ. Štúra” stop. Change to tram #12 to “Nový most” stop and walk for one minute. We highly recommend taking a taxi, which should not cost more than 10 Euros.
• From the main coach station – 3 km/7 min. Take bus #70 to “Nový most” stop. We highly recommend taking a taxi, which should not cost more than 8 Eur.
